Blog Lovin Wednesday; Versaille Memories

Happy Wednesday!

I'm so happy to be writing from the beautiful, sunny, and balmy Florida! What a happy girl I am being in the warm climate. There's just something about the ocean that brings out the best in me.

I wanted to post a little blog-lovin' while I'm away on vacay because my girl Sigourney at A Sip of Style posted this the other day which I obviously love because it includes The Palace of Versailles! Amazing, stunning, breathtaking Versailles. Nothing compares so I wanted to share this post of hers.

In case you have forgotten  how much I loved visiting Versailles while in Northern France I'll link you to this post and share a few more pictures. I cannot emphasize enough how much I think you should take the time out of your trip to see Versailles if you visit France. It was worth every penny and I would love to go back and visit when the gardens are in bloom and would pay a pretty hefty penny in order to do so.

Hope you enjoyed! Happy hump day, don't worry I'll keep posting from Boca!

Hump Day Blog Love

A while ago I posted some great articles that I found off Christine Gilbert's website Almost Fearless here. Here is another post relating specifically to one of the articles I connected with on her website called 8 Things I Wish I Knew When I Was 20. If you haven't checked out her website or the great posts I've listed from her website previously, DO IT NOW! You won't regret it.

Back to the topic at hand: I wanted to share this great guest post from Fairy Tales Are True  about lessons that she's learned in her 20's. Lately, I'm all about self-discovery and looking within to find answers and better myself so this post hit home for me especially since I'm in the midst of my 20's. Hope you enjoy it, relate to it, or reap some sort of benefit from this as I have.

Just thought I would send out a little "hey, you should read this" on this great Wednesday.

Happy reading!

Weekly Round Up: Blog Lovin

Sharing great finds with others is one of my favorite things to do. The second I find a great product or new restaurant I'm on the phone with friends telling them about it or writing a review on my blog. This weekly round up is dedicated to blogs I love lately or posts with some great finds.
#1- Cupcakes and Cashmere is a no brainer and if you haven't been regularly checking Emily blog already, then shame on you. I always find great products on her Five Things posts that she does every Friday and today I love her post about honeymoon beauty essentials. Check it out.

#2- I recently won a giveway that Life, Love and the Pursuit of Shoes which makes me love her site even more. She is always on the hunt for great shoe finds and usually has a great array from Christian Louboutin's to great finds at Kohl's.

#3- My girlfriend and I have been making batch after batch of A Health Foodie's green machine smoothie for our cleanse this week and it is amazing! Check out the recipe and other great ones to try.

Have a great day sharing the love!

Blog Lovin & Hockey is at a Stand Still

Clearly I have been doing more blog reading than blog writing, my bad.

However, I have come across some great finds on others' blogs. Please view the following trusty friends and followers:

This super yummy cocktail from my girl at A Sip of Style

This super easy green smoothie is simple and good for you from my friend at A Health Foodie. She posted this recipe and many more delicious ones on her blog or Facebook page!

5 cups organic baby spinach
3-4 inch piece organic cucumber
Handful of flat-leaf Italian parsley
1/2 green apple
1/2 pear
1 banana
Juice of half a lemon
2-3 cups of water
Blend away!

In other news, it's unfortunately that time of year when the stress of the next step is lingering all around. M's season ended 2 weeks ago and he is currently doing a little traveling and trying to figure out where he will be playing and what we will be doing next year. Every year it's the same routine (unless you're lucky enough to sign a 2+ year contract which we have yet to do), trying to figure out next season's game plan is overwhelming, stressful, annoying, and time consuming; and it will never change. I quickly learned my lesson the first time we did this and now I keep my thoughts to myself unless asked by M because anything I have to say or any worries that I have on my mind, are surely already on his and he doesn't need to be reminded about something that he has minimal control over. Nonetheless, the pressure is on. Family and friends have already began asking what our plans are. Believe me, I wish I knew and so does M. Oh well, another off season is beginning and I'm excited to have M home in under a month and hopefully we'll know by then what our next steps are. For those S.O.'s in the same boat, best of look to your love. I'm praying for patience for us all.
