Waaaah (insert Snooki voice). I have not had a decent nights sleep in two weeks, this has to be what motherhood is like. Except I have a dog. Rouche officially hates her kennel at night and I have been trying my hardest but it is getting ridiculous; she has no problem going in at bedtime but hours after I wake up to her howling and whining like she's being abused. What gives? It's definitely not a bathroom cry, more like "why are you torturing me when all I want to do is snuggle" kinda cry. Does anyone have any suggestions?
While she's a stinker, here are some pictures of her more adorable moments.
When I first got Lou I knew he would never sleep in the crate at night without crying and, at the time, I wasn't allowed to have a dog in my apartment. So I put his small dog bed next to my pillow on the bed, he snuggled up in there and slept all night. Don't get me wrong he would still get up and sometimes potty on the floor but for the most part it worked. Puppies, you just can't help but love 'em!
ReplyDeleteummmm. I have said it once and i will sayyyy it ALWAYS. We tried a puppy before the birth of G. IT WAS HARD!!!!!! A puppy is definitely harder than a baby! Trust me!
ReplyDeleteWell depending on the baby. Babies are a heck of a lot more predictable and more consolable. The only wisdom I have is in reference to a baby and that is the "Cry it Out" method. Maybe it works with puppies too? :)
