Little girl is a Cockapoo mix and is currently 9 weeks old. I couldn't post this great news until I had introduced her to my family since some members read my blog and I didn't want anyone to tell my mom but me (she took it rather well actually).

So here she is and she is so freagin cute and playful and smart.

Rouche is pronounced like the sewing technique ruching (roo-sh-ing). And M and I came up with this name after stopping numerous times at a subway station in Paris called Barbès-Rochechouart. The way the recording announced this station stop was so funny and catching that we would always leave it repeating the name, hence we shortened it into Rouch, and changed the spelling accordingly. Although the name itself doesn't mean anything special, the station was named for the revolutionary Armand Barbes and abbess Marguarite de Rochechouart.

Obviously, I'll keep posting pictures of B. Rouche (baby Rouche has become my go-to nickname) as she grows and gets more and more adorable every day!
