Travel {Day} Dreaming

As you can tell probably tell from my posts, I'm getting pretty excited/anxious to head to France. I am so proud Michael and I have successfully maintained our relationship thousands of miles away for the past three months but this next 4 weeks will probably be the hardest. Why you ask? You only have one more month to go? And that would be my exact answer. I am ready to go NOW. I am dreaming of the landscape and Michael's little Euro car, the Mediterranean and the pan au chocolate. The smell of the salt from the sea and the feel of the "good camera" in my hands once more. Ooh I can hardly wait, which makes me somewhat crabby towards some people because I am really terrible at hiding my emotions and let's just say it, I'm still immature in a lot of aspects of life. Yes, twenty-three is not like sixteen and I am wiser than my years in many ways; but, when it comes to emotion, I still feel like a child who can't form words at times to express myself.

And that would be why this may be the hardest month to get through to date. We will see, I'm trying to take things one day at a time and I'm trying really hard not to start my "to pack" list...but it is really hard. So instead I'm watching youtube videos on exotic places on my list of countries to see, like Greece. Almostfearless posted this video on their channel of Santorini and let me warn you, it is simply breathtaking.

Michael has been to Mikinos previously and he always talks about going back there and showing me around; hopefully we'll get there sooner than later. I can hardly stand to hear him talk about it because I am just dying to go and experience it myself, together.

I'm just craving the easy-going way of life, the culture, the sheer awesomeness of God's wondrous works. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I have.

Please stay tuned, the blog may be slightly dry this week but I'm heading home for the weekend to babysit my fat dog while my parents are away so hopefully I will be able to finish The Art of Racing in the Rain and write a few more posts about our travels last year.

Love&Luck
